On August 20, Meagher + Geer attorney, Elizabeth Poeschl will lead a webinar for architects and engineers.  COVID-19 has created many unexpected and unprecedented  challenges and architects and engineers are now required to work in ways never thought possible.

During this session, Elizabeth will examine the importance of revising contract provisions to give additional protections to designers, including force majeure, indemnification, and fees provisions. She will discuss the importance of establishing methods for remote conference and meetings, and managing client and contractor expectations as well as the increased importance of documentations of events and conversations, as needed to protect the designer. The session will conclude with Elizabeth sharing tips on managing the need for additional safety precautions for face-to-face communications.
