Meagher + Geer is proud to announce that Fred Rong has joined the firm by way of the Twin Cities Diversity in Practice 1L Summer Rotation Clerkship Program.

Fred is a rising second year law student at the University of Minnesota Law School. He earned his undergraduate degree, with high distinction, in psychology from the University of Minnesota.

In his free time, Fred enjoys meeting new people and working on his various hobbies, including volunteering in his local community and visiting local museums for fun. He is also immensely thankful for the steadfast support he has received from his fellow classmates and mentors in law school and beyond.

Meagher + Geer has been a member of Twins Cities Diversity in Practice since 2015, and is committed to hiring a diverse legal bench that will strengthen connections with current and future clients. For more than a decade, the TCDIP 1L Rotation Clerkship program has helped launch the careers of law students of color in the Twin Cities by strengthening the legal talent pipeline with strategic partnerships between TCDIP Members from law firms and corporate legal departments.
