Meagher & Geer, P.L.L.P. is pleased to welcome six new lawyers to our Minneapolis office: Colleen Marie Berryman, Jessica Blanner, Bryan Browning, Steven Cerny, Perssis Meshkat and Megan Yelle.

Colleen Marie Berryman

Colleen is a 2006 dean’s list graduate from Iowa State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree. She received her J.D. magna cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law in 2009. Prior to joining Meagher & Geer, she worked with Wilkerson & Hegna, P.L.L.P. Colleen joins our Anti-Fraud Counseling and Litigation group.

Jessica Blanner

Jessica is a 2006 dean’s list graduate from Middlebury College where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. She was the recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship at the University of St. Thomas School of Law where she received her J.D. in 2009. Prior to joining Meagher & Geer, she worked with Zimmerman Reed, P.L.L.P. Jessica joins our Fidelity Bond and Employment groups.

Bryan Browning

Bryan is a 2005 cum laude and dean’s list honoree graduate from Aquinas College where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. Bryan received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2008, where he was a dean’s list honoree. At the University of Minnesota Law School, Bryan was the Managing Director of both the Environmental Law Moot Court and the Bankruptcy Clinic and was a national competition team member at the National Environmental Law Moot Court and Conrad B. Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court competitions. Prior to joining Meagher & Geer, he worked for Hanson, Marek, Bolkcom & Greene, LTD. Bryan joins our Products Liability and Catastrophic Loss groups.

Steven Cerny

Steven is a 2006 cum laude and honor-society graduate from the University of Minnesota where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. In 2009, Steven received his J.D. cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law. During law school, he was an Assistant Editor of the William Mitchell Law Review and a Quarter-Finalist in the 2009 Ruby R. Vale National Corporate Law Appellate Moot Court Competition where he won the Donald E. Pease Best Corporate Brief for Appellee Award. Prior to joining Meagher & Geer, he worked with Larkin Hoffman Daly & Lindgren, Ltd. Steven joins our Employment group.

Perssis Meshkat

Perssis is a 2005 cum laude and dean’s list graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. In 2009, Perssis received her J.D. magna cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law. Perssis received the award for the Rosalie Wahl Moot Court Best Brief. Prior to joining Meagher & Geer, she worked with the Ramsey County Attorney’s office. Perssis joins our Insurance Coverage group.

Megan Yelle

Megan is a 2004 magna cum laude and honor-society graduate from the University of St. Thomas where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. In 2009, Megan received her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School. During law school, she was a member of the Minnesota Law Review. Prior to joining Meagher & Geer, she worked with Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP in San Francisco. Megan joins our Coverage group.
