On July 7, Meagher + Geer attorney, Aaron Simon had the honor of presenting a donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest (RMHC-UM) on behalf of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), whose members raised $6,000 for the charity through the PLUS Foundation.  Aaron serves as Co-chair of the North Central Chapter of PLUS which chose RMHC-UM as their 2020 chapter charity.

Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest in partnership with the community, provides a comfortable and caring home-away-from-home that supports families during a child’s serious illness. Each year, RMHC-UM serves over 6,600 families at four Twin Cities locations.

PLUS membership consists of over 7,000 individuals, representing over 1,000 companies active in the many fields of professional liability. PLUS currently receives the support of more than 180 companies through corporate membership.

The PLUS Foundation adopted a unique grass roots philanthropic strategy – members choose, members give, members engage. Through Chapter Charity initiatives the Foundation supports the efforts of PLUS Chapters throughout the United States and Canada. Since 2007 $985,500 in grants have been made to more than 300 charities and 2,315 PLUS members have volunteered at 158 events across the U.S. and Canada.
