Laura Hanson Speaks at the DRI Insurance Coverage and Practice Symposium

Laura Hanson, a partner in our Minneapolis office, will speak at the 2015 Defense Research Institute (DRI) Insurance Coverage and Practice Symposium held in New York, December 3-4, 2015. Her presentation titled “Best Practices when Presenting a Claim Handler and Underwriter for Testimony in Coverage and Bad Faith Litigation” focuses on tips for properly preparing an insurance company witness for trial or deposition. This presentation will discuss the best practices for presenting claim handlers and underwriters for testimony in coverage, bad faith or rescission litigation, including preparation of the witness, offensive and defensive strategies and related 30(b)(6) issues.
