John J. McDonald, Jr., a partner with the law firm Meagher & Geer, P.L.L.P. has been appointed by Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metropolitan Airports Commission.  John practices in the areas of commercial litigation, employment practices, insurance coverage and professional liability.  He also serves on Meagher & Geer’s management committee.  John holds a law degree from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas.  In addition to a number of professional memberships, he is a member of the Minnesota Commission on Judicial Selection.
