It is with deep sadness that we announce that our dear friend and colleague, Todd Teitelbaum, passed away on May 21, 2024. Todd joined the firm in 2022 as a scanning clerk, and quickly became an engaged member of the Meagher + Geer family.

Meagher + Geer Partner Heather Neubauer noted, “I learned how to sign “good morning” from Todd. He never left work without making sure to say goodbye to me. He had one of the most important jobs here making sure we had critical documents available in our client’s cases, and he took great pride in his work. We already greatly miss Todd.”

Managing Partner Stacy Broman described, “Todd was often the first person I would see every morning. I could count on his smiling face and a wave every morning. Seeing Todd was truly a highlight of my morning. I miss those morning greetings. I felt that I got to know Todd at our firm events when he would participate with an interpreter. I got to hear about his family and his cat. Todd was always so positive and a wonderful part of our team. I extend my deepest sympathy to his family.”

“Todd was typically the first positive interaction I would have every day. His positive presence is already missed. Sometimes we would surprise each other by coming around the corner too fast when one or both of us wasn’t paying attention and we would both jump then laugh,” said Faline Williams, Associate at Meagher + Geer.

Associate Katie Barton noted, “I get into the office early in the morning, and often Todd was the only person on our side of the building who came in as early as me. He always had a smile and a wave for me every single day. I will miss his friendliness and warmth around the office.” Meagher + Geer Paralegal Julie Zaviska described, “Todd was so nice and a very hard worker. Almost every morning I was in the office, we ran into each other either in the hallway or breakroom and we would always smile and wave. I will miss that and I will miss him.”

Legal Administrative Assistant Cami Abbott noted, “As many of us know Todd loved food. On days the firm was providing food for us he would always send me a message telling me we were going to pig out, but he would always use the “pig” emoji instead of the word. It would always make me laugh. He had such a great sense of humor. Recently, he had sent me an article about how Star Wars blue milk was hitting the shelves on May 4th.” Marketing Specialist Angela Garrett added, “Todd was a delight to be around. He made it a point to attend our firm events and he was such an authentic and friendly person. I am grateful to have known and worked with Todd. We are all really going to miss him.”

Beth Jorges Litigation Technology Support Manager noted, “Todd is greatly missed! He was a very kind individual who was excellent at his job with great attention to detail. He scanned hundreds of boxes for the firm.” Paralegal Nathan Gagnon added, “Todd was a pleasure to work with and always had a smile on his face. He loved visiting the Farmer’s Market downtown on Thursday’s and would ask me every year when the market would be starting. Todd will be missed dearly.”

We share our grief with Todd’s friends and especially his family, to whom he was so close. Our firm will miss his friendliness, positivity, and ability to make others smile.
