Chuck Spevacek, a senior partner in our Minneapolis office, has been selected as a faculty member for the annual Defense Research Institute (DRI) Insurance Coverage and Claims Institute held in Chicago, April 2-4, 2014. His presentation is entitled “Sharing the Defense” focuses on practical problems that occur in cases where multiple insurers are found to owe a defense, including the impact of different dates of tender and notice, sharing of defense costs, problems relating to orphan shares, and disputes with an uncooperative insured.

Chuck has over thirty years’ experience litigating complex commercial cases, with particular emphasis on the trial and appeal of insurance coverage disputes.

In years past, attendance has exceeded 500. DRI, with 22,000 members, is an international organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation.
