The July, 2010, issue of Fire & Arson Investigator, the magazine published for members of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI), contained two articles written by members of Meagher & Geer’s Catastrophic Loss practice group. “Case Study: Columbus Chemical Industries” was written by Russ Melton, Nisha Taneja and Frank Modich, and provided details of their work at the chemical plant explosion during the summer of 2009. “No Entry Means No Entry: A HAZWOPER Primer” was authored by Darren Hepper and Russ Melton, and provides a concise overview of training requirements for fire investigators who are processing a scene.
