Meagher & Geer partner Elizabeth Poeschl will present at the June 14, 2017, AFCOM Greater Minnesota Chapter meeting. In a presentation titled, Risk Management – It’s a Jungle Out There, Elizabeth will discuss the complicated jungle created by parties’ competing risk management efforts, and factors to consider when drafting contracts to manage your risk. Risk management is critical to every party involved in the construction, operation, maintenance and usage of a data center. Well-written contracts will help manage a party’s risk and liability exposure. However, drafting contracts becomes complicated by the competing interests of the other parties, and third-parties.
