Meagher & Geer partner Chuck Spevacek speaks at the Minnesota Insurance Law Today CLE seminar in Minneapolis on Wednesday, June 17, 2009. His presentation is entitled Orcs at the Door following Hobbit Travel – Recent Developments in Advertising Injury Coverage. With its decision in General Casualty Company of Wisconsin v. Wozniak Travel, Inc., d/b/a Hobbit Travel, 762 N.W.2d 572 (Minn. 2009), the Minnesota Supreme Court has set new standards for Advertising Injury coverage. This presentation will analyze the Court’s decision and examine the current state of Advertising Injury coverage under Minnesota law.
