Ron has been in private practice since 1972 concentrating on providing planning services for successful businesses and individuals. This planning includes serving as general counsel to businesses, estate planning, business continuation planning, ESOPs (Ron founded the Minnesota Chapter of the ESOP Association in 1989), and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to going into private practice, Ron served as a Special Assistant Attorney General representing the Minnesota Department of Revenue in connection with state and related federal tax issues.
Ron is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, the Federal District Court, and the State Courts of Minnesota. He earned his B. A. degree from Dartmouth College in 1967 and his J. D. degree from the University of Michigan in 1970.
